MIX IT UP in a series of art workshops with a focus on printmaking, and to include painting and collage.
In these classes we will learn how to print-by-hand, mix colors, talk about composition, and use basic art materials to create our own artistic style.
First, make beautiful textured prints using leaves, weeds, and fall flowers. Then we’ll make relief prints with Styrofoam, creating prints by hand printing and leaning to think in a printmaking way! We’ll also learn to make hand made stamps, and decorate our own notebooks to keep and fill with your favorite drawings or more!
We’ll finish the series as we celebrate the season and paint! It’s Autumn... what do you see and how do you feel? We’ll capture this beautiful season in your painting, and talk about color, composition, and materials to make an Autumn scene all your own.
