The work continues…
At the Art Center, we’re happy to report that the clean up continues and change has begun to be visible throughout our front offices and some of the spaces upstairs. Areas are being de-cluttered and freshly painted with help from some volunteers and the fabulous gals who keep our office running, Irene & Irene. Carefully going through many years of material is not for the faint of heart, but this necessary work is underway and feedback to the changes helps to keep us motivated.
It’s important to acknowledge that this effort is not possible without 3 important components: volunteers pitching in, the inputs and help of the office, and the donors who have contributed funds that are used to pay for cleaning and painting supplies, some maintenance expenses, and assist in helping to keep the building operational while we work on making more spaces within the facility more functional.
Our primary goals in this effort is to provide the public with more access to art education and events. In doing so we aim to build a more vibrant and resilient organization, and to insure that the Center will be here to serve generations of Northern New Jersey Artists and beyond!
