MARVELOUS MOSAIC

THURSDAYS: 7:00pm – 9:30pm $125 (plus $20 material fee)
Create a mosaic with broken pieces of tiles, ceramic plates & bric-a-brac-on a mirror frame, wall panel or table top. Learn to create a design, cut and glue tiles and apply grout. Bring any (broken) treasures you would like to incorporate. A 12” x 12” panel will be provided. Or bring a small table or other object on which you would like to work. ALL LEVELS WELCOME.

WEBSITE DESIGNING & MARKETING: THE HOW’S & WHY’S OF IT

In this workshop we will discuss and understand the importance of internet as an essential marketing tool: website/blog/facebook/youtube. Learn the basic requirements to build your personal website as an artist: the minimum cost, time & the tools required. (Optional: Laptops with wifi)

APPROACHING WATERCOLOR THE SPONTANEOUS WAY

By keeping our goals reachable and our attitude relaxed, we will draw our way into fresh watercolor sketches with the spontaneity that watercolor demands. There are three primaries, three complements and a trillion colors to drive us crazy. We will discuss happy harmonies and conflicting complements to get clear and sharp colors that we know this medium is capable of producing. Our emphasis will be on simple design by using the principles and elements of design. There will be demonstrations and critiques along with personal evaluations. All levels accepted!

Do you know what your digital camera can do? Learn to take better pictures in the digital age. Learn techniques, tips and ideas for your point and shoot and SLR digital cameras. Students must bring their camera manual. BEGINNERS WELCOME!
