This class covers advanced techniques of all contemporary printmaking including intaglio, polymer and solar photo etching, mono-print, relief, lithography, collographs, photo polyester and fuji photo lithography and digital photo transfers Special attention is given to projects with color separation and multi-color plates. ALL LEVELS WELCOME!

DRAWING & PAINTING FROM THE FIGURE WITH FEELING & EXPRESSION

In this class we work with a model for 3 weeks, using traditional styles and materials for a finished painting or drawing. ALL LEVELS WELCOME!

INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED WATERCOLOR

Develop your own style in this exciting spontaneous medium. Classes stress the importance of design, value and color complements. Salting, scratching, glazing, stenciling, masking, dry brush and wet-on-wet techniques are introduced. Landscapes, seascapes, florals, still life’s, and water reflections are handled seasonally from photos or actual set-ups. Students may also bring their own subjects. Personal assistance, drawing instruction, demonstration and individual critiques weekly

OIL PAINTING: STILL LIFE/LIFE PORTRAIT

FUNDAMENTALS OF DRAWING

Fundamentals of drawing from nature,still-life, casts and a live model. Using time honored principles of natural representation of form, the class will be directed from beginners to advanced artists.
