· Drawing Pad – Newsprint from charcoal ; Watercolor Pad or Bristol drawing pad for Pen & ink
· Drawing Tools – Charcoal; Graphite pencils; Pen; Brushes, Kneaded Eraser
· Painting Tools – Watercolors, India ink, Water container
· Misc. – Paper towels, Board to clip paper on, Clips to hold paper

SUSAN MANSPIZER – DRAWING & PAINTING

· 1 – 18×24 Newsprint pad (heavy paper)
· 1 – Box Compressed Charcoal – very soft – dark
· Misc: Inks optional, Pens, Can for water, Paper towels, Rag, Brushes (various size & type)
· Paints – Acrylics /studio size
Cerulean Blue, Ultramarine Blue, Cad. Red Med & Light, Alizarin Crimson, Cad yellow Med & Light, Yellow Ochre, raw Umber, Permanent green, Thalo Green, payne’s Grey, Titanium White (large tube)

TOM PARKES – DRAWING

· 1/8 “ thick board-masonite or other sturdy construction. Sized slightly larger than your drawing paper. Clips to hold paper (Pearl Paint sells a sturdy drawing board with built in clip)
· Kneaded eraser
· Wolff’s carbon pencil-2B, 3B, 4B. You may have to experiment to find the right one for you.
· Sand paper block or piece of sand paper wrapped around wood
· Industrial single-edged razor blade

PEGGY DRESSEL – THE FIGURE IN PASTEL / PORTRAIT & THE CLOTHED FIGURE

For the first class, bring whatever pastels and pastel paper that you have or have been using. We will discuss what you need at the first class. If you don’t have any supplies, try to bring at least the following:

· 2b Pencil
· Kneaded eraser
· Masking tape
· Charcoal Paper, White or Gray
· White, Gray, and Black pastels or Charcoal.
